However the Dexion name lives on through Dexion Comino which was formed by ex Dexion employees and some of their distributors sourcing products from Dexion factories throughout Europe. The original founders of Dexion Comino should be congratulated as without them numerous old Dexion customers may not have had a reliable source of extra material.
Dexion Comino are now again owned by the same owners as the old Dexion, the morals of which the reader can decide bearing in mind the controversial way Dexion ceased trading in 2003, and they are now a financially strong company without the debts of the old UK based manufacturing company.
They now offer a new pallet racking system called P90 but they still offer the Speedlock range.
There are now numerous sources of Dexion compatible racking manufactured in countries as diverse as South Africa, Iran and China. There is an issue with regards to product liability if different manufacturers racking is interchanged but since the demise of Dexion the whole product liability issue is a bit misty. |
